Double Threat Goes From Initial Meeting to Wrapping Principal in Just Three Months… During COVID
Well, you gotta roll with the punches. Today we wrapped on principal photography on our new action-comedy “Double Threat”. It’s going to be an absolute blast of a movie with a ton of exciting stunts and humour but here’s the thing, we turned this whole thing around DURING COVID within three months! Yes, the first meeting, where Kurt Patino and Danielle C. Ryan reached out to Shane Stanley and myself was only the 17th of Sept! The following weekend, we had a treatment. The following week, we had a green-light. Within ten days of that, we had a script and, by the 16th Nov, we were shooting. We have been blessed with a phenomenal cast and crew who have gone above and beyond to help make this happen in the safest way possible. It’s been an incredibly tough year but, even with so many telling us it would be impossible, we weren’t going to let Covid beat us.
